CELEBRATING A LOVE OF RACING AND HORSE WELFARE
Dedicated to raising the standards across the board in racing.
Well Groomed is dedicated to positively impacting the public perception of racing through two main areas:
In the care of horses - In racing, thoroughbreds get accustomed to an extraordinarily high level of grooming, care and love. If a horse is ready to race, it's reflected in it's coat. An essential part of this is the daily ritual of grooming- not just limited to physical appearance, it's about bonding and managing their overall wellbeing and health; if a horse is well cared for, it's considered ‘Well Groomed’.
In growing the racing community and continuing a positive impression. We are hoping to engage (and re-engage) a larger audience of like minded people, interested in both the welfare of horses and the social enjoyment of a day on the track. Someone who looks the part and does the right thing, always leaves a good impression - they are considered ‘Well Groomed’.
WE'D LOVE FOR YOU TO JOIN US AT WELL GROOMED EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR IN THE AIM OF BRINGING FUN, GLAMOUR AND GREAT RACING EXCITEMENT BACK TO THE TRACK, WHILST RAISING FUNDS FOR OUR BELOVED HORSES POST RACING.

ENGAGE MORE WOMEN
The sport has traditionally had a male stronghold, but we want to bring the ladies back to the track for punting, events and Womens' syndicates.
RAISE AWARENESS
Change public perceptions about and showcase the deep love and respect of the animals prolific throughout the industry, and champion their post-racing life.
KEEP US 'WELL GROOMED' TOO
Not only are thoroughbreds 'Well Groomed' but we want to keep the punters well groomed too by bringing fun, glamour and excitement back to the track.
